I believe it is common for bloggers in this day and age to append to their posts a comment such as “XYZ is a reader-supported publication. To support my work, consider becoming a paid subscriber.” But Montaigbakhtinian is not in search of financial support.
Interested readers are, however, certainly urged to check out William Eaton’s books, most available via Amazon and published either by Serving House Books or Zeteo Publishing. Among these books: Art, Sex, Politics, a collection of essays (Serving House Books, 2017).

As for the US being
out of joint,
in a Quarter Latin café the other morning I heard an American man telling a woman, perhaps Filipina, his family history. Around the time of the Second World War, his Latvian grandparents had fled the Soviets and come to the US, his grandfather ending up logging redwoods. How many Americans’ ancestors, some of mine included, came to the US because they found life under Russian rule too brutal. And now this country is to be the US’s main ally? Americans are going to accept this? Where are our dreams?
