Something there is entre des modèles y las artistas

French version, then English original, then Spanish version. Please note that in this case, as in the previous ones, the different languages versions are not quite translations; each poem is somewhat different. And, yes, as often, the title mixes the three languages.

J’ai ouï dire qu’il y a quelque chose entre les modèles et les artistes

AVW looking up, from drawing by William Eaton, 2019 (manipulated) - 2Allongée nue, le doux tapis ;
Ses grands yeux bruns me regardaient.

Un lent sourire se développait,
Pendant que ses yeux me regardaient.

Un chaud confort m’atteignait,
Des grands yeux bruns qui me regardaient.

De quel sujet voulait-elle parler?
De l’amour les yeux répandaient.

Était-elle prête et incapable de voir –
Et pourrais-je comment et les yeux aussi ?

Une extase tranquille rougeoyait
Pendant que les yeux me regardaient.

Something there is about artists and models

AVW looking up, from drawing by William Eaton, 2019 (manipulated) - 2When, naked, she lay posing on the rug,
Her large brown eyes turned to look at me.

A smile had grown beneath her cheeks,
As her eyes they turned to look at me.

Something was warming her from within,
Her large brown eyes looking up at me.

What was she saying more than love,
Her large brown eyes turned to look at me?

That ready she was and unable to see –
Or how could I, and so would her eyes.

Something well in warmth and smile,
And her large brown eyes looking up at me.

Spanish

Hay algo sobre artistas y modelos

AVW looking up, from drawing by William Eaton, 2019 (manipulated) - 1Tumbada desnuda sobre la alfombra,
Ojos grandes y marrones mirándome.

Una lenta sonrisa se desarrolló,
Uno oscuro brillo se extendió.

Uno cálido consuelo me llegó,
Ojos marrones mirándome.

¿Estaban de qué a punto de…?
¿Qué clase de amor se vislumbraba?

¿Estaba ella lista y no podía ver?
¿Y podría yo cómo y nos ojos también?

Aureolas de satisfacción, los ojos
Grandes, marrones mirándome.
